With approval of the State Council, Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council decides to adjust export tariff of textiles. Details are now announced as follows:
1. Increase export tax rates of 74 kinds of textiles under 39 catalogues and 8-digit tax item among the 148 catalogues, the export tariffs of which are imposed as from Jun 1, 2005; start to impose export tariff on flax single yarn with a tariff code of 53061000. Please refer to appendix No.1 for specific products and tax rates.
2. Lower export tax rates of products under 3 catalogues of the total 148, the export tariffs of which are imposed as from Jun 1, 2005, and terminate the export tax rates of products under 2 catalogues at the same time. Please refer to appendix No.2 for specific products and tax rates.
3. For other textiles whose export taxes rates are imposed as from Jun 1, 2005, the tax rates are unchanged.
